Western Sydney Launches First Unified Tourism Campaign, A World At Your Doorstep

A series of doors invites visitors to explore Western Sydney in *A World At Your Doorstep*, the region’s first unified destination campaign. Launched by the Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce, it brings 13 local government areas under one platform after tourism businesses called for the region to be promoted as a destination in its own right. The campaign was unveiled to nearly 400 industry attendees at the 2026 Western Sydney Tourism Awards. The campaign pairs Western Sydney’s cultural diversity with its natural attractions, events and food. It features Lunar New Year celebrations in Cabramatta, Little India in Parramatta and entertainment in Canley Vale, alongside events at CommBank Stadium and Accor Stadium. Visitors are also pointed towards the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury River cruises, wildlife encounters, whitewater rafting in Penrith and hot-air ballooning. Heritage sites, orchards, farm-gate trails and Aboriginal cultural experiences are part of the campaign too. The taskforce says the shared platform will help tourism businesses promote the region and encourage longer stays. The campaign will run across digital, social, outdoor and industry channels as investment continues in Western Sydney International Airport, Powerhouse Parramatta and new hotels. In the year ending June 2026, Western Sydney welcomed 29.6 million visitors, who spent $9.6 billion in the region.
