It then moves to the Coliseum Theatre in Rooty Hill from October 22 to 25. At the Art Gallery of NSW, *Nolan: Origins* brings together more than 150 works by Sidney Nolan, including all 27 paintings in his Ned Kelly series. The gallery stays open late on Wednesdays for Art After Hours, with free after-hours exhibition access, tours and events. The Australian Museum’s free 2026 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition features images selected from 2,129 entries. In Chippendale, White Rabbit Gallery’s *Black Myth* explores Chinese mythology. Tony Albert’s largest solo exhibition, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, examines stereotypes of Aboriginal culture and celebrates survival and resilience.
