OFA Group Launches QikBIM AI Platform in Torrance, Expanding Access to BIM Automation

OFA Group, based in Torrance, California, has officially launched the commercial version of its QikBIM™ AI Platform, marking a significant milestone in the integration of artificial intelligence within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This transition from a pilot program to a fully commercial product allows architects, engineers, and construction professionals worldwide to access advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) automation through a subscription-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The platform is designed to streamline traditional BIM workflows, enabling users to produce architectural drawings, structural plans, and documentation packages in a fraction of the time previously required. The QikBIM platform utilizes proprietary AI technology to automate labor-intensive tasks, significantly enhancing productivity and coordination accuracy. By supporting Revit-compatible outputs and various industry-standard formats, QikBIM integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, allowing firms to accelerate project delivery while reducing costs. Current features include automated clash detection, intelligent parametric BIM models, and permit-level documentation, with plans for future updates to include additional Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) capabilities. This commercial launch not only expands OFA's service offerings beyond traditional architectural consulting but also establishes a recurring software revenue model. Customers can now access OFA's innovative technology without the need for individual project engagements, positioning the company as a leader in the digital transformation of the AEC sector. Larry Wong, the CEO of OFA Group, emphasizes that the goal is to redefine the speed and efficiency of the design workflow, fundamentally changing how buildings are conceived and constructed. As OFA continues to enhance the QikBIM platform, it aims to address long-standing inefficiencies in BIM production, ultimately improving design consistency and project timelines. This initiative reflects OFA's commitment to combining architectural expertise with cutting-edge AI solutions, fostering innovation and scalability within the global construction landscape.
