Mid-Hudson Valley Events: Harvest Fest in Accord and More, Sept. 29, 2026
Arrowood Farms, at 236 Lower Whitfield Road in Accord, will hold its Harvest Fest on Saturday, Oct. 3, from noon to 9 p.m. Friends of Historic Rochester will host Heritage Day on Main Street the same day, from noon to 6 p.m. The two events are part of a wider lineup of activities across the Mid-Hudson Valley. Harvest Fest will feature The Big Takeover and other live music, hot air balloon rides, hay rides, pumpkins, raffle prizes, and food, craft and artisan vendors. Admission is $25; children 12 and under can attend for free. The schedule runs into the evening. Heritage Day will bring live music, food and vendors to the center of Accord, along with a pie contest, children’s activities and historical exhibits. Fireworks are planned for dusk, after the listed daytime hours end at 6 p.m. Elsewhere in the region, Rosendale Theatre will screen silent films on Sept. 29, and Ghent Playhouse opens the comedy “Grand Horizons” on Oct. 2. Accord’s Saturday gatherings are Harvest Fest at Arrowood Farms and Heritage Day on Main Street, where fireworks are planned for dusk.
