Jersey City Local News Blog Invites Readers to Submit Articles
A Jersey City local news blog is inviting residents and other readers to submit articles about the city. It says firsthand accounts can help tell neighborhood stories and welcomes contributions from people who live in Jersey City and those exploring it. Suggested subjects include community events, lesser-known places, everyday neighborhood experiences, human-interest stories and profiles, local restaurant reviews, and reflections on the city’s growth and public initiatives. The blog encourages writers to draw on residents’ real experiences, use vivid descriptions and keep paragraphs concise. Prospective contributors are asked to polish their drafts and make sure they suit local readers before sending them to the editorial desk. The page points to the blog’s Jersey City history coverage for background and to its activity and transportation guides for ideas; its travel material mentions the PATH train, light rail, buses and Citi Bike. The invitation appears alongside hotel and vacation-rental promotions and excerpts from other Jersey City guides. It also displays the title of an opinion piece about homeowners’ bills and developers’ tax breaks, without details from the article. For this call, contributors are asked to send a finished local article to the blog’s editorial desk.
