Madrid Fashion Week SS27 Runs Across Eight Venues Sept. 14–19

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid brings its Spring/Summer 2027 programme to the capital from September 14 to 19, with IFEMA Madrid organising the six-day event with support from the City Council. Established Spanish designers and emerging names will share the schedule, including Palomo’s 10th-anniversary celebration and runway appearances by Redondo Brand, Alvarno, Moisés Nieto, Celia B and Antonio del Canto. This edition extends beyond the IFEMA exhibition complex across eight locations: three official venues and five additional sites around the city. The wider format links the fashion calendar with Madrid’s architecture, cultural spaces, neighbourhoods, restaurants and nightlife. Palacio de Cibeles, among the capital’s best-known central buildings, joins the programme as a new setting. Part of the opening programme will also take place in the greenhouse at Palacio de Cristal de Arganzuela, placing fashion alongside art, culture, architecture and craftsmanship for broader audiences. Fashion Week follows immediately after Madrid’s Formula 1 return, adding to a September calendar shaped by major events and tourism demand. RTN reported that average hotel rates during the Grand Prix weekend rose almost 70% year on year to about €485. Designers, buyers, media, influencers, models and international industry professionals are expected across IFEMA and the participating venues through September 19.
