Venture Atlanta 2026 Recap: Record 1,674 Attendees and 99 Selected Companies

Venture Atlanta held its 19th annual conference at the Woodruff Arts Center on October 14 and 15, bringing together founders, investors and technology leaders from across the Southeast. Organizers reported a record 1,674 attendees, including 566 founders and 500 first-time participants, along with more than 70 speakers. J.P. Morgan served as title sponsor for the first time after a decade of involvement with the conference. The event drew 614 applications to pitch. Organizers selected a record 99 companies across 21 sectors, with 50 presenting during the conference. Nearly two-thirds of the selected companies came from outside Georgia, representing 14 states. Venture Atlanta says that, over almost 20 years, it has connected more than 1,000 companies to over $8.8 billion in capital. In an opening conversation, Cosm CEO Jeb Terry discussed the company’s expansion into Atlanta, its third venue. He said Cosm chose the city based on its location, market size, partners and momentum. Terry also described the company’s approach to building its technology in-house and said Cox was closing a $25 million investment in Cosm after two years of discussions. The conference inducted Tom Noonan, Cherie Fuzzell and Alex Estevez into its Hall of Fame for their work in the region’s technology sector. Organizers also announced that Venture Atlanta’s 20th anniversary conference will move to Cosm Atlanta on October 13 and 14, 2027.
