Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome at Jazz in the Park, returning to Historic Old Fourth Ward on November 7 and 8. Admission is free, with jazz and R&B performers, food, and a market selling art and handmade goods. On November 22, dancers from the Ukrainian National Opera and Ballet Theater bring illuminated costumes to *Swan Lake: Symphony of Lights* at Atlanta Symphony Hall. Tickets cost $54 to $145. The free Piedmont Park Holiday Market follows on November 28 and 29, with up to 100 booths featuring handcrafted work by painters, jewelers, sculptors, glassblowers and other artists. Farther from Atlanta, the Blue Ridge Holiday Market sells work by member artists of the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association from November 15 through December 19. Two chili competitions round out the November calendar. At Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, the Atlanta Chili Cook-Off takes place November 14. Visitors can sample chili from more than 50 competitors—including amateur cooks, restaurants and caterers—and vote on their favorites. Advance general-admission tickets are $25; children 10 and under enter free with a paid adult. Cabbagetown’s Chomp and Stomp on November 7 brings together bluegrass, a vendor market, a 5K and chili made by professional chefs and local amateurs. Entry is free, while sampling more than 100 chilis requires an official spoon, priced at $10 in advance or $15 on the day.
