Things to Do in Atlanta This Weekend: Sept. 18-20, 2026 Events
Metro Atlanta’s Sept. 18-20 weekend lineup includes concerts, festivals and family events throughout the city and surrounding communities. Piedmont Park hosts the sold-out Shaky Knees Festival from Friday through Sunday, featuring more than 60 artists. The Strokes headline Friday, Twenty One Pilots take the stage Saturday and Gorillaz close the festival Sunday. People still looking for tickets can use the official waitlist or verified resale options. Saturday brings a full slate of shows at Atlanta venues. Earth, Wind & Fire performs at State Farm Arena, Shaboozey brings the Outlaws Never Die Tour to the Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park, and Ledisi appears at Atlanta Symphony Hall. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra also continues “Music for the Very Young: I SPY!,” pairing classical music, storytelling and a string quartet for children ages 3 to 8 through Oct. 10. The Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade takes place Saturday night, beginning at Adair Park II following a 7:15 p.m. lineup. Colorful lanterns and large illuminated puppets will travel along the route, where spectators can watch or join the procession with lanterns of their own. Atlanta Plant Fest arrives at Pittsburgh Yards on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The outdoor event includes plant shopping and swapping, a live DJ, food and a full bar, with RSVP suggested for new plant owners and experienced growers alike.
