Caledon Seeks Participants for 2026 Culture Days Festival
Caledon is excited to announce its preparations for the 2026 Culture Days Festival, which will run from September 18 to October 4. This vibrant national celebration of arts, culture, and heritage invites everyone to immerse themselves in 16 days of free, interactive experiences featuring local creators. It's a wonderful chance for the community to come together and appreciate the rich tapestry of talent that Caledon has to offer. Among the highlights of the festival are the Caledon Creative Arts Festival on September 26, taking place at the Caledon East Community Complex, and the Caledon CultureFest on October 3 at the Humber River Centre. Additionally, the Caledon Studio Tour will occur on October 3 and 4, allowing visitors to explore various studios throughout the town. These events promise to be engaging and enriching, showcasing the creativity and diversity of Caledon's artistic community. To make this festival even more special, the town is actively seeking local performers, artists, workshop leaders, and organizations to host participatory events. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals and groups to share their talents and engage with the community in a meaningful way. Applications are open until Friday, July 10, 2026, and selected proposals may receive up to $400 in partnership funding to help bring their ideas to life.
