Austin Grand Prix Weekend Expands Citywide With Downtown Events and Nightlife
The United States Grand Prix weekend runs from October 23 through October 25 in Austin. Visitors coming for the race can also expect busy restaurants, bars and downtown nightlife, with events before and after the sporting schedule extending activity beyond the track. LoneStar Casino will hold a two-night promotion at The Studio on East 6th Street on October 23 and 24. It will feature music, social activities and an hourly Spin the Wheel leaderboard competition. LoneStar operates the promotion independently, with no affiliation to Formula 1, Circuit of The Americas or the race organisers. The competition has six rounds, three each night from 9 p.m. to midnight Central Time. Scores reset every hour. Eligible registered players receive five free spins to use in any round. Registration is free, and no purchase is required for those spins. Additional eligible spins may also count under the official rules. The five highest-scoring eligible players in each round win prizes, including a smartphone, smart glasses, wireless earbuds, an instant camera and earplugs. Participation is limited to eligible guests aged 21 and older. Venue leaderboards display Player IDs instead of names. Winners must be present, show valid government-issued photo identification and claim their prizes in person by 1 a.m. that night.
