NYCHA in Your Neighborhood – Queens Forum will take place Wednesday, September 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Academy of American Studies, 40-11 28 St., Queens, NY 11101. Doors open at 6 p.m. Registration is required because capacity is limited. NYCHA staff will offer one-on-one assistance with apartment repairs, tenancy concerns, environmental issues, and other matters. Small-group discussions may address heat, pests and waste, mold, lead, and public safety. Representatives from City agencies, including the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants, the Department of Social Services, and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, will also be available. Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, and American Sign Language interpretation services will be available. Requests for reasonable accommodations or language interpretation should be submitted by September 9, 2026.
