The Manningham City Council is excited to invite local sporting clubs and community organizations to take part in "Manningham Girls Can" month this November. This initiative aims to create fun and engaging events specifically designed for women and girls in our community. We encourage you to think outside the box and host casual gatherings that inspire participants to explore new activities and connect with one another. By organizing an event, you not only promote your club but also have the chance to attract new members and strengthen community ties. Whether it's a friendly sports match, a wellness workshop, or a creative arts session, your event can make a meaningful impact. Last year's lineup included a variety of activities such as walking groups, cricket matches, hockey games, and Pilates classes, all of which were well-received by the community. Expressions of interest for hosting an event are open until Sunday, August 9, 2026. The Council is here to support you every step of the way, offering planning resources, promotional assistance, and practical tips to ensure your event is a success.
