Household Chemical CleanOut in Miranda, 26–27 September 2026
Sutherland residents can take household chemicals to the Household Chemical CleanOut Event at Bellingara Netball Centre car park, Miranda, on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026. The free collection operates from 9am to 3.30pm each day at 99–105 Bellingara Road and is available to all NSW residents. The service accepts household quantities of solvents, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals, paint, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, batteries, motor oils and cooking oils. Most single items are limited to 20 litres or 20 kilograms. Paint can be brought in volumes up to 100 litres, provided it is in 20-litre containers. Chemicals should be kept in their original containers where possible, with containers labelled and sealed. Keep them away from passengers while travelling to the site, and remain in the vehicle during the drop-off.
