Pubblicato da Learn Forward · 6 giorni fa

The Department of Education (DepEd) has recently completed a nationwide orientation series focused on Learning Systems Reform Policies, aimed at preparing teachers and school leaders for significant educational changes in the upcoming school year. This initiative is designed to ensure a smooth and consistent implementation of these reforms across all regions, highlighting the commitment to enhancing the educational landscape. The final orientation took place in Region 4-B (Mimaropa), where educators participated in a hybrid setup that included both onsite and virtual attendance. This approach allowed for broader engagement among regional and division personnel, school heads, and teachers. The series addressed essential topics such as the three-term school calendar, revised lesson planning guidelines, classroom assessment methods, and flexible learning programs, among others. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing that the sessions clarified the reforms' objectives and their practical applications in the classroom. Education Secretary Sonny Angara emphasized that these orientations mark the beginning of ongoing support for schools. Following the sessions, DepEd plans to maintain its monitoring and provide technical assistance to facilitate the transition. Teachers are encouraged to utilize the Learning Systems Guidebook, which serves as a comprehensive resource for policy guidance and instructional tools, ensuring that educators are well-equipped to navigate these changes effectively.
