TVS Training, SIPCOT host Net Zero Sustainability Expo to accelerate ESG adoption
The Net Zero Sustainability Expo 2026, organized by TVS Training and Services Limited in collaboration with the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT), recently took place at the Chennai Trade Centre. This event aimed to accelerate the adoption of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles among businesses by providing a platform for startups to showcase innovative solutions focused on sustainability. Girija S., CEO of TVS Training, emphasized that sustainability is becoming essential for businesses, helping them attract investors and build customer trust. Chennai Collector S. Malathi Helen inaugurated the expo and highlighted the increasing shift towards renewable energy, particularly the adoption of rooftop solar systems among households. She encouraged residents to consider solar panel installations as a step towards sustainable living. Additionally, she stressed the importance of proper waste management, urging citizens to practice waste segregation at the source, which is crucial for effective solid waste management. The two-day expo featured a variety of solutions related to ESG consulting, renewable energy, waste management, and circular economy practices. It served as a collaborative platform for industries, sustainability professionals, and government bodies to explore innovative approaches that support India's transition to a low-carbon and sustainable economy.
