The Tech Interactive in San Jose recently hosted its 11th annual Tech Topple, a spectacular event that showcased the extraordinary talents of the Reactica build team, led by local innovator Alexander Huang. This year’s theme, "The Great Adventure," featured an impressive display of over 32,000 dominoes and more than 350 chain reaction machines, captivating visitors with a story-driven journey that included crossing oceans and scaling mountains. During the event, attendees witnessed the meticulous process of designing and building the intricate setup, which was a blend of engineering and creativity. The Reactica team, known for their viral projects and appearances on FOX’s "Domino Masters," spent a week perfecting the elaborate installation, allowing guests to engage with the builders and gain insight into the engineering principles at play. Katrina Stevens, President & CEO of The Tech Interactive, expressed pride in hosting such a unique event that emphasizes hands-on, screen-free STEM experiences. The final topple, which was emceed by Matt Roben, created an exhilarating atmosphere as a young visitor initiated the chain reaction, culminating in a breathtaking display of cause-and-effect engineering.
