Intuit Dome to Retain Name During LA28 Olympics
In a groundbreaking move, the Intuit Dome in Inglewood will retain its commercial name during the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, hosting basketball events. This marks one of the first instances where Olympic venues will keep their corporate branding, alongside the Honda Center and Comcast Squash Center. The decision is part of LA28's sponsorship strategy, aiming to generate over $2 billion in commercial revenue, with projections of $800 million to $1 billion for 2025 alone. Intuit's sponsorship places it among top-tier partners like Google, Starbucks, Honda, Delta, and Comcast. LA28 plans to reinvest a significant portion of the budget surplus into youth sports and enhancing access for underserved children in Los Angeles.
