Driver Faces Attempted Homicide Charges After Colorado Springs Road Rage Crash
Colorado Springs police arrested a truck driver after an alleged road rage crash on southbound Interstate 25 injured two people riding a motorcycle Wednesday morning. The collision happened just after 10:45 a.m. south of the Fillmore Street exit, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department. Both the motorcycle rider and passenger were taken to hospitals for their injuries. Police said one of the patients appeared to have suffered a serious brain injury. Authorities have not released further information about the victims’ conditions. Investigators initially considered speed and reckless driving as factors in the crash. However, police said a witness later provided evidence indicating that the truck intentionally struck the motorcycle.
