Lemont Keepataw Day and Fun Fest returns September 6
Lemont Keepataw Day and Fun Fest is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Downtown Lemont. The day begins with a 1:00 PM parade, followed by the Fun Fest from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The parade starts at Stephen Street and Main Street, traveling along Main Street, Turnabout and Illinois Street before ending at Illinois Street and Lemont Street. Fun Fest activities include live music, a Kids’ Corner, an artisan market and food vendors. The Kids’ Corner will operate from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the small Metra Lot beneath the underpass. The artisan market is also open from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, while food vendors run from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Several downtown streets and all Metra lots at Ed Bossert Street will have scheduled parking restrictions or closures on and around September 6.
