
Humanoid Global Updates Agility Robotics Listing and Launches AI Hub in Silicon Valley

Vancouver is witnessing significant advancements in the field of humanoid robotics, particularly through the efforts of Humanoid Global Holdings Corp. and its portfolio company, Agility Robotics. Recently, Agility Robotics announced a definitive agreement to merge with Churchill Capital Corp XI, paving the way for its public listing in 2026. This merger is valued at a pre-money equity of $2.5 billion and is anticipated to generate over $620 million in gross proceeds. The funds will be utilized to fulfill existing customer orders, scale production of the Digit v5 humanoid robot, and enhance its integrated robotics and physical AI platform. Agility Robotics has already secured more than $300 million in multi-year orders for the Digit v5, which has accumulated over 65,000 operating hours across various customer facilities. This momentum highlights the growing demand for humanoid robots in commercial settings, particularly in warehouses and manufacturing environments. To further support its operations, Agility has opened a 60,000-square-foot Physical AI development hub in Fremont, California. This facility will focus on AI training, testing, and software development, while also creating nearly 200 technical and field-operations jobs. Shahab Samimi, CEO of Humanoid Global, expressed optimism about Agility's future, stating that the proposed public listing marks a pivotal moment for the humanoid robotics sector. He believes that Agility's proven commercial deployments and the robust capabilities of the Digit robot position it well to lead in the public market. Although Humanoid Global is not directly involved in the merger, it remains committed to monitoring Agility's progress and providing updates to its shareholders. As Vancouver continues to be a hub for innovation in robotics and AI, the developments surrounding Agility Robotics reflect the city's growing influence in this transformative industry.
