Lee Chang-dong's latest film, "Possible Love," has garnered significant attention by receiving an official invitation to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Scheduled to screen in the Special Presentations section of the festival, which opens on September 10, this film marks a notable return for the acclaimed director, as it is his first feature in eight years. TIFF is recognized as North America’s largest film festival and is esteemed globally, alongside prestigious events like Venice, Cannes, and Berlin. "Possible Love" delves into the complexities of marital relationships and social class through the intertwined lives of two couples from vastly different economic backgrounds. The narrative follows Hoseok, a laid-off heavy-industry worker portrayed by Sol Kyung-gu, and his wife Mi-ok, played by Jeon Do-yeon.
