This free event is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together and play a vital role in restoring the critically endangered Blue Gum High Forest. By planting native trees, we can help rejuvenate this precious ecosystem and ensure its survival for future generations. No prior gardening experience is needed, so everyone is welcome to participate. All necessary tools and plants will be provided, making it easy for anyone to join in. We encourage participants to wear gardening clothes, bring gloves, a hat, and sunscreen, as well as comfortable shoes and drinking water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Once the planting is complete, enjoy a complimentary sausage sizzle as a thank-you for your hard work. Plus, each participant will have the chance to take home a free native plant, adding a touch of nature to your own garden.
