In the heart of San Francisco's Richmond District, a couple of physicians embarked on an eleven-year journey to transform their historic 1916 home into a warm and inviting sanctuary. After moving from the bustling life of New York City, they found themselves in a house that still held some of its original charm, such as coved ceilings and millwork, but had been marred by years of haphazard updates. The couple, feeling disconnected from their new space, sought the expertise of Lynn Kloythanomsup, founder of Landed Interiors, to restore the home gradually and thoughtfully. Rather than opting for a quick renovation, the homeowners embraced a slower approach, allowing them to truly understand their needs and preferences over time.
