Midlothian Snowsports Centre
I remember that first rush of cold air when I stepped onto the snow at Midlothian Snowsports Centre. It felt like winter had decided to nestle in that very spot, filled with the laughter of kids and determined skiers making the most of the slopes. The view from the top was amazing, with Edinburgh quietly sprawling out in the distance. It was one of those places where you could easily lose track of time just enjoying the simple joy of sliding downhill.
