
TCL Solar Secures 720MW Solar Projects from DT Infrastructure in Melbourne

Melbourne is witnessing a significant advancement in renewable energy technology with the recent announcement of TCL Solar being awarded a major contract by DT Infrastructure (DTI) for the Smoky Creek and Guthrie's Gap Solar Power Stations in Central Queensland. This ambitious project, which will feature a combined capacity of 720MW, is set to utilize TCL's innovative Back Contact (BC) solar modules, known for their high efficiency of up to 24.2%. Installation is anticipated to begin in early Q2 2027, marking a pivotal moment for large-scale solar energy deployment in Australia.
