Journey Adds 40 Dates to 'Final Frontier' Tour
Legendary rock band Journey has expanded their "Final Frontier" tour, adding 40 new dates to their already extensive itinerary. The new leg kicks off on September 12 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, and concludes on November 28 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA. These shows are in addition to 28 previously announced performances starting May 15 in Tampa, FL. The pre-sale for tickets begins Wednesday, May 13 at 12 PM local time using the code FRONTIER, with general ticket sales starting Friday at 10 AM. The tour follows a period of internal tension within the band, particularly involving lead vocalist Arnel Pineda. After the cancellation of their Stagecoach Festival performance due to high winds, Pineda shared a cryptic message, sparking speculation about his future with the band. Reports indicate he attempted to leave Journey twice ahead of the tour, although guitarist Neal Schon has denied any knowledge of these issues. The tour run spans multiple states and Canadian provinces, making stops at major arenas including United Center in Chicago, TD Garden in Boston, and Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
