War Child's Secret 7" Record Auction Returns to London

Art and music lovers, get ready for an exciting event as War Child's Secret 7" record auction makes its much-anticipated return to London. This year marks the tenth edition of the auction, taking place from August 18 to 30, 2026, at the vibrant 180 Studios. The exhibition will showcase an impressive collection of 700 unique record sleeves, each crafted by a talented mix of artists, including ceramicist Clare Twomey, muralist Thierry Noir, and musician Orlando Weeks. Each artwork corresponds anonymously to one of seven iconic songs by renowned artists such as John Lennon, The Last Dinner Party, and Bastille. With only 100 limited-edition seven-inch vinyl records pressed for each song, this collection is not just a feast for the eyes but also a rare opportunity for collectors and fans alike. The thrill of the auction lies in the mystery; buyers will only learn the identity of the designer after their purchase, adding an element of surprise to the experience. After the exhibition concludes, the record sleeves will be available for purchase through an online auction. All proceeds from this initiative will go directly to War Child, supporting their vital work in helping children affected by conflict in regions like Sudan, Ukraine, and Afghanistan. Since its launch, the Secret 7" project has raised over £900,000, successfully merging creativity with activism to create a meaningful impact. Join us in celebrating art, music, and compassion this August in London!
