The Your Shot DJ Program is set to expand its reach in 2026, adding Denver and Miami to its roster of cities while continuing its successful initiatives in Los Angeles and New York. Launched just last year, this innovative program has quickly established itself as a vital platform for aspiring DJs, helping them transition from bedroom producers to festival performers. The initiative pairs participants with industry mentors and provides access to professional-grade equipment, culminating in showcase weekends where winners are celebrated in front of enthusiastic crowds. The inaugural U.S. season of Your Shot attracted over 500 first-time DJs and concluded with showcase events that drew more than 10,000 attendees across Los Angeles and New York. Notably, two female DJs, Jelly Bean and Punky Butter, emerged as winners, securing coveted opening slots at major festivals like Elements Music & Arts Festival and CRSSD Festival. Their success exemplifies the program's commitment to providing real opportunities that extend beyond traditional mentorship. As Your Shot prepares for its second season, it is enhancing its offerings with significant upgrades in equipment. AlphaTheta, the company behind Pioneer DJ gear, is increasing its involvement by supplying mixers and controllers, while Sony has joined as a new partner, providing its ULT POWER SOUND speaker line and professional audio headphones.
