Moreover, the revitalization of Canal Origins Park, located nearby, is another critical aspect of this initiative. As the project progresses, it aims to create a picnic pavilion and enhance recreational access to the Calumet River, ultimately breaking the cycle of disconnection from nature that has affected generations.
