Tecovas Partners with Bass Pro Shops for Retail Expansion in Buda and Beyond
Tecovas, the Austin-based Western footwear and accessories brand, has announced an exciting new partnership with Bass Pro Shops, marking a significant step in its wholesale distribution strategy. Starting this summer, Tecovas will offer its range of Western footwear, clothing, and accessories at select Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations across North America, as well as online at Basspro.com. The collaboration will kick off with shop-in-shop locations at Bass Pro Shops’ flagship store in Springfield, Missouri, followed by a new location in Sayreville, New Jersey, set to open this fall. The partnership will initially see Tecovas products available in eight additional Bass Pro Shops locations, including Buda, Texas, and other cities across the United States and Canada. David Lafitte, CEO and president of Tecovas, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting Bass Pro Shops as an iconic American brand that shares Tecovas' commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Lafitte emphasized that this partnership is not just a business arrangement but a culturally relevant alliance between two brands that celebrate the spirit of the West. In addition to the retail partnership, Tecovas will also become the official boot sponsor of the Missouri Thunder, a professional bull riding team owned by Bass Pro Shops. This sponsorship will be active throughout the PBR Teams Series season and will feature prominently during the Missouri Thunder Days event in September. This announcement follows Tecovas' first national retail partnership with Nordstrom, which began just over a year ago, showcasing the brand's rapid growth and increasing presence in the retail market.
