
The Effectiveness of the Headspace App for Improving Sleep: Randomized Controlled Trial
A recent study evaluated the effectiveness of the Headspace app in improving sleep quality among university staff in California. Participants engaged in 10 minutes of daily meditation through the app for eight weeks, and results indicated significant improvements in both subjective and objective sleep outcomes. Those using Headspace reported better sleep quality and reduced tiredness, particularly noticeable after five weeks. Additionally, participants experienced longer sleep durations, reinforcing the potential of mobile health apps like Headspace to enhance sleep wellness.
