The Tamil Biennale is set to take place in January 2027, as announced by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin during the Tamil Nadu Global Tourism Summit 2026. This initiative aims to position Tamil Nadu as a premier destination for art and cultural tourism. The state government has signed 127 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance tourism infrastructure, which is expected to create nearly 66,000 jobs. Key developments include the establishment of special tourist destinations and modern amenities, such as luxury hotels and amusement parks, across various districts.
