Volvo is set to unveil its new electric midsize SUV, the EX60, which promises to outshine its more expensive sibling, the EX90, with a longer range and faster charging capabilities. Built on an innovative 800-volt electric architecture, the EX60 is expected to offer a maximum range of 400 miles and DC fast-charging speeds of 400 kW, allowing for a remarkable 168 miles of range in just 10 minutes. This model will incorporate advanced features like in-house designed motors and cell-to-body battery integration, enhancing efficiency and reducing weight. With the introduction of mega casting technology, the EX60 aims to redefine electric vehicle performance and alleviate range anxiety for drivers. The full design will be revealed later this month, promising exciting advancements in both architecture and design.
