Elon Musk's ambitious plans for Robotaxis are beginning to take shape in Dallas and Houston, marking a significant step in Tesla's journey toward autonomous transportation. Currently, Tesla operates three unsupervised Robotaxis in both Dallas and Houston, while Austin leads the way with a fleet of 20. This rollout is part of a broader strategy that includes a supervised Robotaxi fleet in California, which consists of 107 vehicles. Despite these advancements, Tesla still finds itself trailing behind competitors like Waymo, which has established a more extensive and robust presence in the autonomous vehicle market.
