This activity comes shortly after the NSN was officially designated as a hate group by the Australian government. Despite his face being obscured by a mask in his videos, investigators have linked his Instagram posts to previous unmasked appearances, suggesting a consistent location for his broadcasts. Sewell has also initiated a legal challenge against the government’s ban on his organization, aiming to establish a political party promoting a "White Australia." The Australian government is actively monitoring social media for potential violations of hate speech laws, which are among the strictest in the country’s history. Concerns have been raised by community leaders, such as Alex Ryvchin from the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, who highlighted the alarming rise of extremist content on social media platforms. While the directors have been evasive about their connections to Sewell and the NSN, one of them confirmed that Sewell is renting the property. Despite the media attention surrounding Sewell's activities, the property's owner, Christina Macgregor, claimed ignorance of Sewell's extremist affiliations, asserting that she has her own political beliefs.
